About Me
So here's my somewhat narcissistic about me paragraph.

Born in Portland, Oregon, I have made the City of Roses my life home. I went to Central Catholic High School and then both Southern Oregon University (then Southern Oregon State College), and Lewis & Clark College.

I then spent a decade teaching and coaching at the high school level, coaching mostly baseball and football, but spending time coaching skiing and basketball as well. A move to the college level followed as my goal at the time was to be a collegiate head baseball coach. Four years later I found my self as the Director of Physical Education and Athletics at my alma mater. After almost 20 years total at the college level, I gave the "real world" a shot, working with my awesome brother-in-law at his company, Technocom. A few years later I was back in my zone, education.
I'm currently an administrator at a small Christian school in Newberg, Oregon, C.S. Lewis Academy. I work mostly in Development and Athletics and the business side of running our K-12 school
Through most of my professional journey I continued to coach, including long stints coaching my kids, Bryan and Megan. My proudest period of time, however, was when both of them were my assistant coaches while I was still coaching a travel softball team.

Personally, I married my college sweetheart, Cindy, and are grateful for life together and our two children and their significant others, Stephany and Eric.
